Last year, on this very same day was one of the most exciting day of my life as my wife and I are leaving for our delayed honeymoon trip to South Korea. It was really a memorable trip *grin*.
It was earlier spring back then when we visited that lovely country. We had a 5 days and 4 nights tour package that include trips to Everland - South Korea biggest theme park, Cheongpoong Folk Village, Chungju Lake, Gosu Cave, Abai Village ( Famous for the shooting of "Autumn in my Heart" drama ) & Fisher Wharf, Mount Sorak National Park, Kwongumsong Fortress & Shinheunsa Temple, Chuncheon Joongang Mall, Nami Island ( Shooting scene of "Winter Sonata" ) and lastly Seoul City itself!
During our last 3 days at Seoul, we were brought to few interesting places such as the Yuido Yoongungno Cherry Blossom Street which is situated right at the back of the Parliament House, Shinchon Fashion Street ( Here, you'll get an average haircut at USD300 bucks!! These street is famous for plastic surgery! ... and wow! 80% of the girls on the street are damn hot!!! *grin* ), War Memorial Hall, Dongdaemun Market ( My wife shop like crazy here... ), Kyongbok Palace, Blue House ( This is the Korean version of White House. No camera & video allowed or else you're under arrest! ) & National Forklore Meseum, Ginseng & Amethyst Showroom and before we end our most tiring day, we got ourselves to sit back and relax while enjoying the much talked about Korean "Jump" Show which is a live comedy martial art theatrical show that I found quite fun to watch.
On the last day itself before we departed, we decided to take the subway down to Nandaemun Market on our own because the last day was meant to be free and easy. Luckily Korean are nice people to deal with so, we manage to get to where we wanna go. Here, my wife shopped even more crazier than before because Nandaemun Market is kinda like Petaling Street back in KL. *laugh*... But, I think the quality are much better. *smile*
It was definitely a very very packed and tiring vacation but nevertheless, we really enjoyed ourselves to the fullest! Anyway, time does goes by in a blink of an eye... really looking forward to another great holiday soon... *grin*
Pray for me ya... *laugh*
